Privacy Policy

When you fill in a form on this site — for example our pre-approval form or a "check availability" request — you may give us your name, email address, phone number, the vehicle you are interested in, your monthly budget and down payment, your credit situation, and details of a vehicle you would like to trade in.

Our web servers also record basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address and the pages you visit.

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, to answer your questions about a vehicle, and — when you ask us to arrange financing — to work with lenders and financing partners to look for an approval.

We collect and use your information with your consent: the consent you give us when you submit a form or contact us. For email, we follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) — we email you about your own inquiry, and we only send other messages if you opt in, with an unsubscribe link in every message.

We share your information with lenders and financing partners only when you apply for financing, so they can assess your application. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

We keep your information only as long as we need it to respond to you and to arrange and service financing, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations — generally up to seven years for financing records. After that we destroy it or remove the details that identify you.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or withdraw your consent to its use (subject to legal and contractual limits). Email Naji@automaxx.com and we will help. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to continue arranging financing for you.

We handle personal information in accordance with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and with Canada's anti-spam law (CASL). You also have the right to contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
